Pagination
We’re updating the pagination component to meet the design system standards and publishing supporting guidance. This will include improvements to accessibility, responsive behaviour and visual consistency.
Tabs
Update the tabs components to meet the design system standards. This will include improvements to accessibility and responsive behaviour.
Next priorities
We particularly welcome input on the following themes. If you work in Parliament, contact us on the #design-system Slack channel.
Navigation and wayfinding
Investigate how to improve navigation and wayfinding across UK Parliament’s digital products. This will include a review of the header, footer, and breadcrumb components.
Information and layout
Investigate how to display different types of information in responsive layouts, with a focus on flexibility and scalability. This will include a review of the card component, how it is used and potential alternatives for different use cases.
When we start new work, we will choose from this list of priorities first.
Other components, patterns and ‘how to’ guidance
We regularly ask our product colleagues to help us decide the things we need to work on the most.
If you cannot find what you’re looking for, you can propose or contribute a foundation, component or ‘how to’ piece of guidance.
If you’d like to propose or contribute a foundation, component or ‘how to’ piece of guidance that is not in the list of priorities, get in touch with the Improving User Experience Cluster.
